About Keith Rushing and Why Eleventh Hour Ministries F.B.O.

About Keith Rushing

I am an ordained minister, teacher, and watchman who has spent more than three decades serving the Body of Christ through local churches, para-church ministries, leadership development, and pastoral care. For over twenty years, I served as a full-time pastor within an interdenominational Charismatic church, walking with families through seasons of growth, hardship, restoration, and spiritual formation.

Before entering full-time ministry, I built and operated a successful insurance business and later returned to the business community in 1996. My professional experience includes financial planning, life insurance, and property and casualty insurance, helping individuals and families navigate important financial decisions with wisdom and stewardship.

I am also a proud United States Air Force veteran, having served four years including a tour in Vietnam. Following military service, I graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso, earning Bachelor of Arts degrees in Marketing and Management. My academic journey continued through theological and ministry training, culminating in both a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry degree with concentrations in Leadership, Ministry Management, and Marketplace Ministries.

These diverse experiences—military service, ministry leadership, business, and financial planning—have shaped my understanding of people, culture, and the challenges facing both the church and society. They have also deepened my conviction that faith is not confined to church buildings but is intended to shape every sphere of life.

More than titles or credentials, however, I see myself as a servant of Christ and a watchman seeking to encourage, challenge, and prepare the ecclesia for faithful engagement in the days in which we live.

Why Eleventh Hour Ministries F.B.O.

More than twenty-five years ago, I wrote a manuscript entitled The Eleventh Hour and later Then the End Shall Come. The burden behind these writings was not rooted in fear, speculation, or sensationalism, but in a growing conviction that the Lord was calling His people to preparation, discernment, and Kingdom engagement in what I sensed to be an "Eleventh Hour."

The central emphasis of those early writings was Matthew 24:14:

"And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to the nations, and then the end will come."

While many discussions surrounding the end times focused almost exclusively on Israel, geopolitical events, and prophetic speculation, I found myself wrestling with a different question:

What is the mission of the ecclesia in the midst of these times?

The words of Jesus continually drew me back to His commission—to make disciples of all nations and proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom. It became increasingly clear to me that the focus of God's people must remain centered on Christ, His present reign, and His mission in the earth.

Although the manuscript was completed years ago, the Lord never released me to publish it. Looking back, I now understand why. I was not yet prepared to fully express what He was developing in my heart and spirit.

Through seasons of testing, disappointment, waiting, and personal refinement, I gradually lost my appetite for what I often call "churchianity"—religion reduced to tradition, routine, and institutional maintenance apart from genuine Kingdom life and spiritual vitality. Yet even during those quieter years, the Lord continued to shape conviction, deepen understanding, and prepare the message.

Eleventh Hour Ministries F.B.O. was born out of that waiting.

Several conversations with sincere Christian brothers became catalytic moments. One expressed the belief that "everything began with Israel and everything will end with Israel." Another viewed current world events primarily through the lens that "these things have to happen before Jesus returns." Still another was teaching through popular end-times systems that seemed to emphasize speculation more than Kingdom responsibility.

Those conversations compelled me to write.

I could no longer remain silent concerning what I believe Scripture teaches regarding the tribulation, the Second Coming, Israel, the distinction between church and ecclesia, the Millennium, and the calling of God's people in the present age.

Eleventh Hour Ministries F.B.O. exists to encourage serious Biblical examination, spiritual discernment, and Kingdom-minded engagement.

The purpose is not controversy for controversy's sake, nor division within the Body of Christ, but to challenge assumptions, examine traditions in light of Scripture, and call the ecclesia to faithful occupation until Christ's work in history is complete.

The hour may be late—but the call remains clear.
