About Dr. Keith I. Rushing
Dr. Keith I. Rushing is an ordained minister, teacher, and watchman who has spent more than three decades serving the Body of Christ through local churches, parachurch ministries, leadership development, discipleship, and pastoral care. For more than twenty years, he served as a full-time pastor within an interdenominational Charismatic church, walking alongside individuals and families through seasons of growth, hardship, restoration, and spiritual formation.
Before entering full-time ministry, Dr. Rushing built and operated a successful insurance business, in financial planning, life insurance, and property and casualty insurance. He later returned to the business community in 1996, creating New Mexico as a territory for a technology company. His professional experience has allowed him to help individuals and families navigate important financial decisions with wisdom, responsibility, and faithful stewardship.
Dr. Rushing is also a United States Air Force veteran. He served for four years, including a tour in Vietnam. Following his military service, he attended the University of Texas at El Paso, where he earned degrees in Marketing and Management. He later continued his theological and ministry education, earning both a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry, with concentrations in Leadership, Ministry Management, and Marketplace Ministries.
His diverse experiences in military service, pastoral ministry, business, education, and financial planning have shaped his understanding of people, culture, leadership, and the challenges confronting both the Ecclesia and society. They have also deepened his conviction that faith was never intended to remain confined within church buildings, but should shape every sphere of life.
More important than titles or credentials, Dr. Rushing sees himself as a servant of Jesus Christ and a watchman called to encourage, challenge, and prepare the Ecclesia for faithful engagement in the days in which we live. Through Eleventh Hour Ministries F.B.O., he seeks to help God's people understand the times, discern truth, strengthen their relationship with Christ, and faithfully occupy until the King returns.
That same calling has also led to the development of the Eleventh Hour War Room—a companion ministry and growing equipping resource designed to help believers move from understanding the times to knowing what to do. Through biblical teaching, Kingdom identity, practical strategies, and the developing Eleventh Hour Handbook, the War Room equips God's people to think biblically, live courageously, and faithfully represent the King in every sphere of life.
Why Eleventh Hour Ministries F.B.O. Exists
More than twenty-five years ago, Dr. Keith I. Rushing wrote a manuscript entitled The Eleventh Hour, followed later by Then the End Shall Come. The burden behind these writings was not rooted in fear, speculation, or sensationalism, but in a growing conviction that the Lord was calling His people to preparation, discernment, and Kingdom engagement in what he sensed to be the "Eleventh Hour."
The central emphasis of those early writings was Matthew 24:14: "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to the nations, and then the end will come."
While many end-times discussions focused almost exclusively on Israel, geopolitical events, and prophetic speculation, Dr. Rushing found himself wrestling with a different question: What is the mission of the Ecclesia in the midst of these times?
The words of Jesus continually drew him back to Christ's commission—to make disciples of all nations and proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom. It became increasingly clear that the attention of God's people must remain centered on Jesus Christ, His present reign, and His mission in the earth.
Although the original manuscript was completed many years ago, Dr. Rushing did not sense the Lord releasing him to publish it. Looking back, he now understands that he was not yet prepared to express fully what the Lord was developing in his heart and spirit.
Through seasons of testing, disappointment, waiting, and personal refinement, he gradually lost his appetite for what he often calls "churchianity"—religion reduced to tradition, routine, and institutional maintenance without genuine Kingdom life and spiritual vitality. Yet even during those quieter years, the Lord continued to deepen his convictions, broaden his understanding, and prepare the message.
Eleventh Hour Ministries F.B.O. was born out of that waiting.
Several conversations with sincere Christian brothers eventually became catalytic moments. One expressed the belief that "everything began with Israel, and everything will end with Israel." Another viewed current world events primarily through the belief that "these things have to happen before Jesus returns." Still another was teaching popular end-times systems that appeared to emphasize prophetic speculation more than present Kingdom responsibility.
Those conversations compelled Dr. Rushing to begin writing again. He could no longer remain silent concerning what he believed Scripture teaches about the Tribulation, the Second Coming, Israel, the distinction between church and Ecclesia, the Millennium, and the calling of God's people in the present age.
Eleventh Hour Ministries F.B.O. exists to encourage serious biblical examination, spiritual discernment, and Kingdom-minded engagement. Its purpose is not controversy for controversy's sake, nor division within the Body of Christ. Its purpose is to challenge assumptions, examine inherited traditions in the light of Scripture, and call the Ecclesia to think biblically, live courageously, and faithfully occupy until the King brings His purposes to their appointed completion.
The hour may be late—but the call remains clear.
