Prayer of Surrender
A prayer of surrender and trust for the eleventh hour
A Prayer of Surrender and Trust
Heavenly Father, in this eleventh hour, I fully surrender myself to You. You are my refuge and my strength, and in You I will not fear or doubt. I align myself with Your Word and the truth that I am Your child and You are my Father.
Today, I put on the full armor of God.
I put on the Belt of Truth, that I may know Your truth, walk in Your truth, and not be led astray.
I put on the Breastplate of Righteousness, knowing that You have made me righteous in Christ. May I walk uprightly before You and faithfully represent Your Kingdom in the earth.
I put on the Sandals of the Gospel of Peace. I will not allow my heart to be troubled, but will receive Your peace and carry that peace to others wherever You send me.
I take up the Shield of Faith, believing that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Whatever may be happening around me, I choose to trust You above what I see, hear, or fear.
I put on the Helmet of Salvation, continually remembering that I have been saved by Your grace through faith. Guard my mind and keep my thoughts fixed upon You.
I take up the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, ready to stand against the spiritual forces of evil, the rulers and authorities of darkness, remembering always that my battle is not against flesh and blood.
Father, give me wisdom to understand the times, discernment to recognize deception, courage to stand firm, and faithfulness to remain about my King's business. May I not retreat in fear, but walk in the power, love, and sound mind You have given me.
Thank You for hearing my prayer. Your Word assures me that if I know You hear me in whatever I ask according to Your will, I know that I have what I have asked of You (1 John 5:14–15).
I surrender my life, my family, my future, my resources, and my calling into Your hands. I am Yours. Lead me, strengthen me, and use me for Your Kingdom and Your glory.
In the name of Jesus Christ,
Amen.
